Thermomix chocolate brownies are the ultimate guilty pleasure. You can make this recipe super quickly and have delicious, chocolatey, gooey treats at home. Chocolate is undoubtedly the secret to a happy life (and of course to a happy stomach). It's simply comfort food and just so helpful on that horrible day where just about everything went wrong. Take a chocolate brownie and all of a sudden everything feels normal again. Chocolate, especially dark chocolate, releases endorphins in your body that make you happy. These little Thermomix chocolate brownies are therefore the best treat for you and your family on a bad day. Good news is, you can store them in an airtight container for up to 1 week. Bad news is, it probably won't last that long if you've got chocoholics in your family. Thermomix chocolate brownies are beautifully gooey and delicious sweets with a nice twist on the original. The secret to these brownies are the mini marshmallows that melt in the oven while baking. Just makes them so much more gooey than a traditional brownie and adds beautiful flavours. You can also make this treat by using gluten-free plain flour instead. I find the texture hardly varies at all. I scoff my face and pretend it wasn't me, except for the huge chocolate face I have afterwards. Ah well, I may be a good baker but I am definitely not a neat eater, that is for sure.


  • 250 g butter
  • 200 g dark chocolate broken up into chunks
  • 75 g chopped almonds
  • 75 g mini marshmallows
  • 80 g cocoa powder
  • 65 g plain flour or gluten-free flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 360 g caster sugar
  • 4 eggs


  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C.
  2. Place the chocolate in the mixing bowl. Blitz 10 Sec. / Speed 9. Scrape down.
  3. Add the butter and melt 3 Min. / 45°C / Speed 2.
  4. If you don’t have a Thermomix, place the butter and chocolate in a medium sized saucepan and melt on the lowest heat until smooth.
  5. Add the almonds, mini marshmallows, cocoa powder, plain flour, baking powder, caster sugar and eggs to the bowl and mix 20 Sec. / Speed 4.
  6. If you don’t have a Thermomix, place the butter and chocolate in a large mixing bowl. Add the above ingredients and mix until smooth, using an electric mixer.
  7. Line a 25cm square baking tray with greaseproof paper and pour over the brownie mixture. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes. They will be gooey inside but baked on the top.
  8. Remove from the oven and leave to cool down on a wired rack. Cut up into chunks while still warm and enjoy!

Recipe Notes

Tip: If you don’t have any chopped nuts, place the whole nuts in the Thermomix mixing bowl and crush until chopped on setting 3 Sec./Speed 5.
