Thermomix Vegan Chocolate Mousse

This Thermomix vegan chocolate mousse is a guilt free paleo treat for everyone. It is ready in 30 seconds and served raw with strawberries tastes super yummy. You can make this mousse in advance if you are expecting guests, it keeps really well in the fridge for up to two days. "I could die for chocolate mousse" (Sophia's brother) My brother is absolutely obsessed with chocolate mousse. I remember the evenings when we made chocolate mousse together. We would cause an absolute mess and it would take ages, but the finished mousse was so fantastic. We could never wait for it to chill and accepted the fact that it would probably be runny, as long as we could have it. This vegan raw chocolate mousse is completely different. It does not take long at all, causes no mess and the texture is instantly amazing. I prefer it to the original and cannot wait to have it together with my brother. If you are on a paleo diet or if you are vegan, this recipe is absolutely perfect. It contains no sugar and dairy, which makes it so much lighter than any other mousse I have had.

Ingredients

Thermomix Vegan chocolate mousse

  • 1 Avocado destoned and peeled
  • 6 dates
  • 1 tbsp agave nectar
  • 150 ml full fat coconut milk
  • 40 g vegan cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp coffee powder
  • 1/4 tsp chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp rock salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Place the Avocado, dates, agave nectar, coconut milk, cocoa powder, coffee powder, chilli powder, salt and vanilla extract in the mixing bowl and combine until you have a smooth mousse on setting 30 Sec./ Speed 6. If it is still a bit chunky, scrape the mousse down and give it another 10 seconds.
  2. If you don't have a Thermomix, place the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and, using a hand whisker, mix until you have a smooth, fluffy mousse. This may take up to 4-5 minutes.
  3. Serve with fruit. Enjoy!
