  • 1 clove garlic
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp garam masala
  • ½ lemon juice only

To garnish:

  • sumac
  • 1 Tbsp chickpeas steal from the can of chickpeas
  • pepper
  • chilli flakes
  • chilli oil
  • fresh coriander

  1. Place all the ingredients in the mixing bowl and combine 10 Sec. / Speed 8.

  2. If you find that the hummus is still a bit dry, add more olive oil and tahini. Season to taste. Enjoy!

Recipe Notes

This recipe can easily be jazzed up by adding some roasted peppers. To do that, place some whole red peppers in the oven and roast them for half an hour at the highest temperature. Take them out, peel and blend with the other ingredients.

My hubby is also a big hummus aficionado (it’s his favorite evening snack) so we always have some in the house.

This hummus looks delicious. I think I might even try it with roasted and seasoned chickpeas as a topping.
