Hemp Oil Pesto & Good Hemp Review
I love trying new flavours and ingredients and when I first tried hemp oil and hemp seeds by Good Hemp I was so surprised just how wholesome it tasted. It tastes like the smell of freshly cut grass on a warm and sunny spring day. So wonderful and takes you right into the best mood for the day. Since I planned on making some pasta I used the Good Hemp oil and seeds to make a delicious pesto. It was deep in colour and is so easy to put together. Serve it with some gnocchi or any other pasta of your liking and you have yourself a beautifully fragrant and colourful lunch in less than 20 minutes. Though I am usually an extra virgin olive oil kind of girl, the nutty flavour in the Good Hemp oil really surprised me and brought out the richness in the pesto so well.
You can find the Good Hemp oil I used online or in selected health food stores. Give it a try, you will love it. It is incredibly high in omega 3 and omega 6-GLA which is something quite important for me at the minute as I had so much hair loss after Hermione was born so giving me some strength back to my hair and nails would be a double win for me.
